Consumer Warranty or Goodwill Order Entry GuidelinesUpdated 6 months ago

Begin New Order
  • Open the new order entry screen
  • From the Customer ID box, enter Account 119581(This is the JBI ONE TIME SALE account)
  • Make the Ship To ID box also lists Account 119581 
    • If the Ship To ID box is blank, and you change the ship-to address, the change will be permanent.  We don't want this to happen!

New Order Settings
  • From the Order tab on the menu bar;
    • In the PO box, type "WARRANTY-CONSUMER"
    • In the Delivery Instructions box, type a detailed explanation of the problem and the solution

  • From the Classes tab on the menu bar;
    • Change Class 2 box to WARRANTY CONSUMER

  • From the Terms tab on the menu bar; 
    • Change the Terms ID box from  "CASH ADVANCE to NET 10TH OF MONTH

  • From the Ship Info tab on the menu bar;
    • Change the Carrier box from PICKUP to the appropriate shipping choice
    • Usually UPS or FedEx Ground.  Make sure to select Commercial or Residential as needed

  • From the Ship To tab on the menu bar;
    • Change the following boxes as appropriate
      • Name box 
      • Address box 
      • City box 
      • State box
      • ZIP box
      • Country box
      • Phone Number box

Item Entry with P/N
  • Enter part number
  • Enter quantity
  • Change unit price to 0.0000

Item Entry without P/N
  • Enter part number as 999
    • Add a description of the item in the Extended Desc field
  • Enter quantity
  • Change unit price to 0.0000

Final Steps
  • Review order details for accuracy
  • Click the Approved checkbox

Shipment Tracking
  • Email consumer tracking details as a final follow-up
