JBI Warranty Claim Submission GuidelinesUpdated 3 months ago

All Warranty Claim Submissions related to complete bikes, trikes, recumbents, and unicycles must be submitted using the online JBI Warranty Submission Form.  Claims may be submitted via:

  • Mobile
  • Desktop
  • Tablet

What's in the JBI Warranty Submission Form

The form requires the following information. Below, I’ve included a screenshot of each of the three pages so you can see the details that will be requested.

Warranty Claim Policy

If a JBI bicycle, adult tricycle, recumbent, or unicycle is found to be damaged or defective, the warranty claim process must begin with the submission of a JBI Warranty Claim Submission Form.

  • Submission Requirement: All warranty claims—including, but not limited to, those involving the frame or fork—must be submitted through the online form.

  • Review Process: Each claim will be reviewed and must receive approval from the Customer Service Manager and/or the Brand Manager in the Miami office before further action is taken.

  • Special Note:

    • Warranty coverage is non-transferable; claims must be submitted for the original owner.

    • If the bicycle has been used for commercial purposes, additional exclusions may apply

Describing The Problem

When completing your warranty claim, please provide a detailed description of the issue. Include the following information to help us assess the claim:

  • Location of Issue: Specify what part of the frame or fork has failed or is believed to be defective. Common issues may include cracks, alignment problems, welding defects, or paint irregularities.

  • Circumstances of Failure: Explain the events or conditions leading up to the failure.

  • Usage: Indicate whether the bike, trike, recumbent, or unicycle has been used for personal use or as part of a commercial enterprise.

  • Rider Details: Note if rider weight or size may have been a contributing factor.

  • Intended Use: Confirm whether the product has been ridden within the parameters of its intended design.

  • Storage Conditions: Describe how the product has been stored (indoors or outdoors).

Supporting Photos

  • Photo 1 – Complete Bike:  Provide a clear photo of the entire bicycle.  Partial bike photos will not be accepted.  The photo should be taken from the drive side unless the non-drive side is directly relevant to the claim.

  • Photo 2 – Affected Area: Provide a close-up photo fo the damaged or defective area.  Multiple photos may be submitted if needed.

  • Photo 3 – Serial Number: Provide a clear photo of bike's serial number.
